Florida-based Xenia Hotels & Resorts has expanded its portfolio of operating hotels with the addition of the new Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook, a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, features 100 rooms, a grand ballroom and meeting spaces, Grand Bohemian Gallery, Poseidon spa, and 24-hour fitness centre.
Moreover, the property has an interactive cooking school, wine blending experience and tasting room in addition to the Habitat Feed & Social rooftop terrace and restaurant.
Xenia Hotels & Resorts president Marcel Verbaas said: "We are excited to announce the completion of the Grand Bohemian Mountain Brook, the second development project completed in a joint venture with The Kessler Collection this year.
"This hotel is the first of its calibre in the state of Alabama and its superb, irreplaceable location amidst the unique architectural charm of Mountain Brook is in close proximity to Birmingham’s strong and varied demand generators, including leading firms in the financial, medical and automotive industries."
Developed by a joint venture between The Kessler Collection and Xenia, the new hotel will be managed by The Kessler Collection.
Currently, Kessler manages four other Marriott Autograph Collection hotels such as the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando, the Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront, the Bohemian Hotel Celebration, and Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston.
Xenia added Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston in the district of Charleston, South Carolina, to its portfolio in September.
The 50-room luxury boutique hotel features 3,000ft² of meeting and event space, a fitness centre, as well as a Grand Bohemian Gallery.
