Kentucky-based privately held company Columbia Sussex has acquired InterContinental Dallas and is rebranding the hotel to Renaissance Dallas Addison.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
Situated in the heart of the Dallas Metroplex, this property has 528 guestrooms and suites and over 100,000ft2 of total meeting space, in addition to a fitness centre, outdoor pool and on-site spa services.
Refurbishment works are currently underway. The restaurant and bar are being rebranded, and together, they will be called as the Noell JCT Restaurant & Lounge.
Design firm DiLeonardo has been chosen to redesign the property as per Marriott’s standards. Columbia Sussex is a franchiser of Marriott hotels.
DiLeonardo was responsible for revamping the ballrooms, meeting spaces and pre-function areas of the InterContinental Dallas in preparation of its transition.
