Miraval Resorts & Spas has reached an agreement with hospitality giant Hyatt Hotels Corp to launch its Miraval Life in Balance Spa concept to Southern California.

As per the agreement, Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Carlsbad, California, will debut the Miraval Life in Balance Spa in Spring 2023.

As per the plan, the proposed spa will feature 20 indoor and outdoor treatment rooms.

It will boast of specialised treatment rooms, including a spa pool for the acclaimed sensory deprivation treatment, Vasudhara. It will also feature a spacious room with hanging yoga silks for Thai massage.

Furthermore, the spa will also feature a fitness centre, large studio for yoga and meditation classes, plush lounge for quiet personal reflection and retail space.

The move marks the wrapping up of a $60m resort-wide renovation, which included the design of the new Life in Balance Spa.

The renovation of Park Hyatt Aviara included redesigned guestrooms and suites; a reimagined lobby entrance; two new pools; and an interactive Topgolf Swing Suite.

The renovation also included 80,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event spaces; and five distinct culinary and bar experiences.

The Life in Balance Spa is the main attraction of each of the three Miraval resort and spa destinations located in Tucson, Arizona; Austin, Texas; and Lenox, Massachusetts.
