Park Hyatt brand debuts in Indonesia

Situated in the Menteng area, Park Hyatt Jakarta features 220 oversized rooms, including 36 suites.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has debuted Park Hyatt brand in Indonesia with the opening Park Hyatt Jakarta.

Situated in the Menteng area in the heart of Jakarta’s central business district, the hotel features 220 oversized rooms, including 36 suites.

The hotel occupies the top 17 floors of the 37-story Park Tower.

Hyatt Asia Pacific group president David Udell said: “With Hyatt hotels operating in Indonesia for over 40 years, we are delighted to share that the Park Hyatt brand has launched in the country, introducing its refined hospitality and personal service to local residents and visitors from near and far.

“As more countries reopen their borders and travel confidence grows, Park Hyatt Jakarta is an exciting addition to our Park Hyatt portfolio, complementing new hotels that have opened in recent years in Auckland, Kyoto, Niseko and Suzhou.”

Park Hyatt Jakarta is close to parks, retail and entertainment venues and the National Monument Park.

Its guestrooms range from around 615 to 915ft2, while the suites range from 935 to 2,450ft2. All rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, offering views of Jakarta and the National Monument landmark.

Park Hyatt Jakarta provides ten function rooms, which can accommodate up to 750 people, be it for wedding receptions or intimate gatherings.

Offering a choice selection of wellness and leisure experiences, the spa and fitness centre are located on levels 34 and 35.

The restaurants at the hotel start on level 22. Its Dining Room serves a collection of breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings with Indonesian and Italian cuisines prepared in an interactive live-cooking setting.  The Conservatory on level 23 serves comfort foods from savoury snacks to sweet treats with specialty teas.

The Bar provides light bites and crafted beverages alongside live entertainment.

Set to open in the months to come, Kita喜多 Restaurant & Bar will occupy the top two levels of the building. It will serve modern Japanese dining and creative cocktails.
