Parks Hospitality Group has broken ground on a new 101-room Tru by Hilton property in Burlington, North Carolina.
This four-story hotel will be owned and operated by Parks Hospitality Group.
The hotel is expected to complete in late 2019 and will be the first Tru by Hilton in the Piedmont Triad area.
It is located off I-40, near Elon University and Alamance Regional Hospital. With the opening of the hotel, it will be the second Tru by Hilton property in the Parks Hospitality portfolio.
Parks Hospitality Group vice president of operations Trevor Wladen said: “We are excited to bring the first Tru by Hilton to the area and to open our second Hilton hotel in Burlington.
“Tru by Hilton will provide a great option for cost-conscious travelers looking for a great stay and ideal location.”

The brand’s properties feature smaller designed guest rooms with a mobile desk, large bathrooms equipped with premium bath amenities, room entertainment, a complimentary build-your-own “Top It” breakfast bar, lobby designed in a way that has areas for guests to work, play games, eat and lounge, and a 24/7 “Eat. & Sip” concept.
The hotels also have mobile check-in, digital key, free WiFi, remote printing, a social media wall, lobby tablets, fitness centers.
Tru by Hilton Burlington will take part in Hilton Honors, a loyalty programme that serves more than 85 million members.
