Hotel operator Accor has collaborated with Yaralla Sports Club to unveil its Peppers brand in Gladstone, marking the region’s inaugural five-star hotel.

Peppers Gladstone emerges as the first newly constructed hotel to launch in the area in over ten years, thereby establishing a new standard for premium lodging options in both Gladstone and the wider Central Queensland territory.

The newly established 32-room Peppers Gladstone complements the current 60-room Mantra Gladstone within the Yaralla Sports Club premises, functioning under a dual-brand hotel strategy.

Accor Pacific PM&E chief operating officer Adrian Williams said: “The debut of Peppers Gladstone is a proud moment for Accor as it brings a new level of hospitality to Central Queensland. This hotel is a unique addition to our premium brand portfolio and exemplifies our commitment to creating extraordinary guest experiences, blending Peppers’ signature style with the charm of Gladstone.”

Designed by BSPN Architects and built by Mettle Projects, the hotel features accommodations with king-sized beds, televisions with Chromecast, a non-alcoholic minibar, and kitchens.

Guests can enjoy various amenities such as a heated outdoor swimming pool, exclusive access to an eight-seater cinema room, a gym, secure parking, Wi-Fi, and two on-site restaurants.

Together with Accor, we’re delivering a world-class accommodation option that’s set to become the ultimate destination for visitors, whether they’re here for business, a special event, or to explore our beautiful coastline.”

The combination of Peppers Gladstone and Mantra Gladstone expands the accommodation capacity, bolstering the potential for hosting events with its flexible conference spaces.

Its proximity to the CBD and the Yaralla Sports Club positions it as a choice for both business and leisure travellers.
