Flexible-use hospitality and multi-family operator Placemakr has announced its expansion into Nevada, US, with a new pop-up location in Reno.
Offering 66 apartment-style hotel suites, the property is operated in collaboration with Pacific Development and Bridge Investment Group and managed alongside real estate company Greystar.
Guests can access amenities such as a 24-hour fitness centre, co-working spaces, meeting space, a Clubhouse, and a resort-style heated spa and pool with Baja Lounge.
Additional features include outdoor courtyards, an elevated rooftop lounge, an outdoor pet lounge, an assigned parking garage, and a package room.
Placemakr CEO and co-founder Jason Fudin said: “It’s been so exciting building out Placemakr’s presence in the Western US over the past 12 months.
“Reno is the latest in that expansion and one that I’m particularly excited about. Reno punches way above its weight as a tourism destination and has seen meaningful investment from the business community in recent years, so being here helps spread the Placemakr brand to tons of new customers.”

By GlobalDataThe Placemakr property in Reno is strategically located near Greater Nevada Field, home of the Reno Aces, and on the north bank of the Truckee River.
This location provides guests with access to the walkable downtown area and an Amtrak train station. Furthermore, it is considered a base for exploring Lake Tahoe.
Pacific Development partner Sean Murphy said: “This is a gorgeous new build in a prime location.
“Given the demand drivers nearby and the draw Reno has, we know this Pop-up hotel will be a hit with guests.”
This year alone, Placemakr has opened five new properties across the US, with locations in cities such as Salt Lake City, Santa Clara, San Antonio, and Pittsburgh.
