Premier Inn has completed the construction of a brand-new hotel in the historic market town Bridgwater in Somerset and set to open it today.
Work on the 100-bed property was completed in early June this year.
The hotel is located inside the 100-acre mixed-use Bridgwater Gateway scheme near the junction 24 of the M5.
The new property will feature a ‘Thyme restaurant’ which will offer breakfast, dinner and kids food for travellers.
Bridgwater Gateway development manager Phil Wade said: “This is another major milestone for us. The business park has delivered a major boost to the local economy during the construction phase, as well as leaving a legacy of creating new jobs into the future.”
Colliers International, which is property agent for Bridgwater Gateway, said that nearly 30 jobs will be created at the new hotel.
