
Raffles Hotels & Resorts is expanding its luxury offerings with the Raffles Estera East Cape Resort & Residences, scheduled to open in Los Cabos, Mexico, in 2029.
The Raffles Estera East Cape Resort & Residences, a partnership between Raffles and real estate developer ONE Development Group, will occupy a beachfront location in the East Cape community of Los Cabos.
Stretching from San José del Cabo to Los Barriles, the area is an hour’s drive from Los Cabos International Airport.
The resort’s setting, nestled between the Sea of Cortez, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains, offers guests sea views and a beach suitable for watersports.
The initial phase of the development will introduce 80 hotel rooms and 46 branded residences, with architecture by Olson Kundig and interior designs by Studio Paolo Ferrari for the hotel, and Huber Design for the residences.
Sustainability is a key focus for Raffles and ONE Development Group, with responsible development practices emphasised throughout the resort.

By GlobalDataRaffles Estera East Cape will offer a range of amenities, including a spa, multiple outdoor pools, a watersports centre, and spaces for children and teens.
Real estate investment banking company GFG Securities has advised in the management agreement negotiations for ONE Development Group and is responsible for securing the necessary financing for this project.
The Raffles Estera East Cape Resort represents Raffles’ inaugural property in Mexico and complements the brand’s expansion in North America, following the opening of Raffles Boston.

In July 2024, Raffles’ parent company Accor announced the planned opening of Raffles Hotels & Resorts in Tokyo, Japan, set for 2028.
