Jagson Resorts has announced the opening of a new Ramada Encore by Wyndham-branded property in Amritsar, a city in the north-western Indian state of Punjab.

The newly opened property is located near the airport and features 80 rooms.

The property also boasts a rooftop swimming pool, a bar, a business centre, a fitness centre, a lobby lounge and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel’s restaurant, Basil, serves Indian and international cuisine while the lobby café, Blend, offers a wide range of snacks with a selection of mocktails, the company said.

It can also host a range of events at its two event venues spread across 2,200m² of area, with a capacity to accommodate up to 300 banquet guests and 150 conference guests.
