Red Sea Global (RSG) has opened Rosewood AMAALA, a luxury resort at Triple Bay on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast.

Designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), the low-density resort is inspired by the “natural beauty” of the Red Sea and the mountains of Tabuk, according to a statement by the tourism developer.

The property spans 40ha and features 110 keys, arranged in clusters set within green surroundings.

Pavilions, suites and villas each come with private pools. Guests also have access to shared resort pools and indoor-outdoor living spaces.

Two natural rock pools along the coastline are among the resort’s key features.

Rosewood Residences AMAALA also includes 26 branded villas, ranging from three to five bedrooms, with interiors by Tristan Auer.

Dining spans eight concepts, from Mediterranean restaurants and grill venues to lounges and poolside bars.

The Asaya spa at the resort is spread over an area of 2,100m², offering six treatment rooms, a double suite, a private hammam, and separate wet areas with sauna and steam rooms.

Family facilities include Rosewood Explorers, a dedicated kids’ club, alongside other children’s amenities.

Red Sea Global noted that the resort runs entirely on solar power. AMAALA is targeting a 30% net conservation gain by 2040.

This is the third resort to open at AMAALA Triple Bay. Five more are expected in the coming months.

The wider destination will also include branded residences, wellness facilities, a marina, retail spaces, a marine life institute, and further dining venues.

Red Sea Global Group CEO John Pagano said: “Rosewood AMAALA strengthens the destination’s position as a world-class wellness destination by bringing together Rosewood’s distinctive approach to luxury hospitality with personalised wellbeing experiences.

“Together with our growing collection of wellness operators and hospitality partners, the resort expands the range of experiences available to guests seeking restorative, meaningful and immersive stays along the Red Sea coast.”
