United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based climate technology company CarbonSifr has entered a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with luxury hotel chain Rixos Hotels.

This MoU aims to elevate Rixos Hotels’ environmental responsibility by integrating climate action into eco-friendly hospitality experiences.

The agreement is expected to include a detailed assessment and active reduction of the hotel chain’s carbon footprint, leveraging CarbonSifr’s technological expertise.

This aligns with CarbonSifr’s strategy to promote climate action solutions in different market segments.

CarbonSifr and Rixos Hotels will also focus on business events, aiming to improve the transparency and accountability of environmental reporting.

This will empower event organisers and participants to make more sustainable choices.
