Roam America has officially launched as a new brand in the hospitality sector, aiming to improve the outdoor adventure experience for modern travellers.

The brand’s focus is on providing a contemporary RV [recreational vehicle] and campground experience, complete with tech-forward features.

Roam America CEO Michael Sharf said: “The outdoor travel industry has experienced tremendous growth and change in the last few years.

“More people are looking for affordable and authentic outdoor travel experiences than ever before. While campgrounds have remained largely unchanged for the last several decades, modern travellers seek a higher level of comfort, cleanliness and convenience.

“Roam provides an updated experience for today’s outdoor traveler that stays true to the heart and nostalgia of traditional camping experiences.”

The brand’s flagship property, Roam Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona, was soft-opened last year.

Roam America plans to expand its footprint with additional properties near Portland, Oregon, and Park City, Utah, scheduled to open within the year.

Roam America’s properties are equipped with essential amenities such as high-speed WiFi and pet-friendly spaces.

Among the features at Roam America locations are resort-style heated pools, splash pads, modern laundry facilities, and various RV sites.

 Sharf added: “We know that the 2024 traveller, whether they’re families, couples, digital nomads or retirees, all place great value on unique experiences.

“Our properties will complement their beautiful outdoor offerings with immersive experiences that today’s travellers crave. For example, Roam Horseshoe Bend will have opportunities to experience the beauty of Page through hosted events and activities such as outdoor movie nights, live music performances, and fireside chats with local experts and guides.”
