US-based theme bar-restaurant chain Hard Rock International is set to launch its brand in the Black Hills National Forest, City of Deadwood, South Dakota.

Rocksino by Hard Rock, a boutique hotel and casino experience, is expected to open on 8 August this year.

It is anticipated to feature much of what Hard Rock customers will expect from the brand but on a smaller scale than its renowned integrated resorts in major worldwide destinations.

This property will boast a casino with 86 new slot machines and a full-service restaurant and bar, with a new menu that includes Deadwood pizza prepared in the new kitchen.

Guests can eat on the Historic Patio, which will have a wood-fire barbecue or inside at the bar or VIP mezzanine. Custom Rocksino by Hard Rock Deadwood gear is available at the Rock Shop Retail Store. The guest rooms are expected to open later this year.

Hard Rock International COO Jon Lucas said: “Hard Rock prides itself on being able to provide authentic and memorable experiences for our guests embodied by music and rich cultural history.
