Indian hospitality chain Sarovar Hotels, in partnership with The Massif Hotel, has announced plans to open the Royal Tulip Kathmandu in Nepal.
The property is said to become the largest hotel in the country and a destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE).
Located nearly 3.5km from Tribhuvan International Airport, the property will offer 304 rooms.
To be managed by Sarovar Hotels under the Louvre Hotels Royal Tulip brand, the hotel will offer premium accommodations and modern amenities.
Sarovar Hotels chairman Ajay K Bakaya said: “This signing marks a significant step in expanding our presence in Nepal. With the largest hotel in the city and the biggest MICE facility, Royal Tulip Kathmandu will cater to the growing demand for luxury accommodations and world-class event spaces, positioning it as a premier destination for both business and leisure travellers.”
The Royal Tulip Kathmandu will feature the largest convention centre in Kathmandu and will have two grand halls each measuring 11,000ft² for conferences, corporate events, weddings, and other large-scale gatherings.
