Schulte Hospitality Group has selected eTip, a digital tipping and financial benefits platform, as its digital tipping provider.

This partnership will provide associates at more than 200 Schulte properties worldwide, including brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt access to eTip’s contactless tipping technology.

The initiative is set to enhance the guest experience by offering a secure and seamless cashless tipping option.

Schulte Hospitality Group operational strategy and integrations VP Jason Jackson said: “After exploring a variety of platforms, eTip thoroughly impressed us with their unwavering commitment to success and dedication to innovation.”

The eTip solution, which operates on the Visa network, is designed to be user-friendly, requiring no mobile app or login credentials.

The “tap to tip” feature further simplifies the process, allowing guests to use an NFC-enabled QR code for immediate tipping.

This enables associates to receive tips directly into their bank accounts via Visa Direct, bypassing the waiting period associated with standard payroll cycles.  

The digital tipping system supports various payment options, including debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

eTip’s comprehensive service includes onboarding, payment processing, tip distribution, and reporting.

Besides, the platform’s white-label design also allows for a customised appearance that aligns with each hotel’s branding.
