
Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) has received $35m fund from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, reported TradeArabia.
Established in Dubai ten years ago, the diversified hospitality group has presence in nine countries.
The funding will support international expansion plans, including the opening of METT Hotel & Beach Resort in the Spanish city of Marbella city next year.
SHG is scouting for opportunities in the Mediterranean region, the UK, the US, and Asia.
It owns and operates a wide portfolio of hospitality lifestyle brands, including AURA, Azure Beach, METT Hotels & Resorts, L’amo, Black Tap, Ammos among others.
Sunset Hospitality Group CEO Antonio Gonzalez was quoted by the publication as saying: “We are very proud to receive the support of Goldman Sachs. This is a powerful testament to our performance and potential, and the result of the hard work of our incredibly talented team.”

SHG’s imminent openings in Dubai this year include Chinese restaurant Mott 32, and Italian restaurant Signor Sassiat St Regis The Palm.
Outside Dubai, SHG has plans to open 15 international locations by the end of the 2023.
