Valley View Casino & Hotel, a gaming destination in Southern California, US, has reinforced its 20-year partnership with Infor by upgrading to the latest hospitality technology solutions.

The location is deploying Infor’s Hospitality Point of Sale (POS), Hospitality Management System (HMS), and Table Reservation Management systems to modernise operations and enhance guest experience, particularly on the gaming floor.

The integration of Infor’s technology is aimed at automating reward redemption and streamlining processes.

This move is expected to provide a seamless guest experience, with Infor POS introducing new functionalities that are more than the capabilities of the previous system.

Valley View Casino & Hotel general manager Bruce Howard said: “We are delighted to be the first casino in the country to implement Infor’s Point of Sale System. Our 20-year partnership with Infor has been a win/win scenario for both companies since its inception in 2004 and we are confident that will continue with their new advanced technology into POS, another integral part of our business.”

The upgraded POS system is expected to offer more efficient table management, featuring simplified check splitting, a merge function for combining guests from different tables, and a repeat order button for quick reordering.

Additionally, the new menu management capabilities will allow for the creation of items across multiple revenue centres.

A key component of the upgrade is the integration of room charge information with the HMS. This will minimise the need for social contact by enabling charges to checked-out rooms without the need for front desk intervention.
