Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has selected US-based self-disinfecting surface protection technology provider NanoVapor Biotech (NVB) for protection from viruses and bacteria.

NVB will treat the hotel and casino with its 90-Day Surface Protection Treatment System.

The system is powered by a patented 100% environmentally friendly anti-microbial solution, called OMNISOL.

This solution creates a self-sanitising nanolayer that lasts longer than regular disinfectants.

NVB’s treatment provides antimicrobial surface disinfection, and protection to the hotel surfaces for up to 90 days.

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is a reimagined and re-conceptualised casino resort. It is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton.

It is owned by JC Hospitality, in partnership with Juniper Capital Partners, Fengate Asset Management, Dream, Virgin Group, LiUNA, and Orlando Development.

JC Hospitality president and CEO Richard Bosworth said: “We are committed to taking every precaution at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas to protect our guests and team members from the risks of Covid-19 or any other harmful viruses or diseases.

“NanoVapor Biotech gives me the confidence that we are providing the best quality protection available.”

The technology company said that its Omnisol products are water-based solutions. The protective coating can be bonded to almost any surface and are safe and non-toxic for humans.

NVB CEO Fernando Lehrer said: “Our long-lasting solution has been applied to high-touch surfaces throughout the hotel in spaces like restaurants, meeting rooms, lobbies, casino tables and chairs, bars, spa and wellness centre, bathrooms and public social gathering areas, with incredibly high levels of success, as measured by our regular monitoring.”
