Waverbed stated that one in three adults suffers from chronic sleep problems, and nearly all travellers experience some form of sleep disruption. This makes quality rest a top priority for guests.

WaverLabs CEO Mark Baird said: “We believe that great sleep should be accessible to all guests, especially those who face sleep difficulties. The response from both hotels and their guests has been incredible. Hoteliers are not only seeing demand for WaverBed rooms but also exploring innovative ways to integrate and monetise this offering based on their own brand standards and guest needs.

“Every hotel brings unique ideas on how they can incorporate and promote WaverBed—whether as a premium room upgrade, a VIP guest perk, or part of a dedicated sleep wellness package.”

In addition to WaverBed, WaverLabs has developed WaverMat to offer a complementary relaxing treatment in spas and wellness facilities.

Luxury spas that have integrated WaverMat are claimed to have reported increased client interest in gravity wave therapy, indicating a “demand for science-backed wellness solutions”.
