Hotel management firm White Lodging has revealed plans to restart transformation of an existing property into The Otis Hotel San Antonio, Autograph Collection.

The company initially announced the 15-month transformation of the 251-room property in March 2020 but put it on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Slated to open in the first half of 2023, the hotel will become the first Autograph Collection Hotels property in San Antonio in the US.

The Otis Hotel San Antonio offers over 360ft2 size guest rooms, most of which featuring sliding glass door and a private balcony or terrace.

Other guest amenities will include porte cochere, resort-style pool with an outdoor bar and semi-private cabanas and a lobby featuring new bar and indoor/outdoor lounge seating.

In addition, the hotel will feature a new day spa, transformed from the existing meeting and event space and a new restaurant and bar featuring cross-cultural cuisine.

The property will also feature nearly 10,000ft2 of indoor meeting space, and other event areas situated among the urban oasis that can host weddings, cocktail receptions, and business events.

The Otis Hotel San Antonio will mark the second namesake hotel after The Otis Hotel Austin, Autograph Collection, which opened in Austin in February 2020.
