Hospitality platform and operator WhyHotel has partnered with The Rudin Family to bring its hospitality living concept to New York City for the first time.

Located at 110 Wall Street, WhyHotel’s Front & Wall Street hospitality living property is a former office building.

In 2015, most of the building was converted to apartment-style units. The property now has more than 200 units and amenities.

It features an outdoor grill and kitchen on the 7th floor terrace, guest laundry room with ping pong and pool tables, fitness centre with a spin studio, and community kitchens.

WhyHotel’s Hospitality Living business arm will operate the building, which will serve both short-term guest stays and longer-term resident leases.

It will start welcoming guests from 1 November 2021.

The hotel is suitable for both recreation and working guests looking accommodation for weekend and longer period.

WhyHotel CEO and co-founder Jason Fudin said: “New York City is a market that we’ve had our eyes on for a long time now.

“Our partnership with the Rudin Family is an exciting opportunity to reinvigorate a building that is incredibly well designed to bring together hospitality and home in a way we expect to become commonplace in the US over time.

“The Rudin Family, as they have often been in real estate, is at the cutting edge of this trend. I can’t think of a better place than the heart of FiDi, where people come from around the globe, to launch this product.”

WhyHotel plans to continue expanding its presence in the New York City in the future.
