Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of two hotels – the 290-room upscale Wyndham Dubai Deira, and the 94-key Super 8, in Dubai, the UAE.
Located in Deira, both the hotels are claimed to be first under the Deira Enrichment Project.
The project, a development by Ithra Dubai and fully owned by Investment Corporation of Dubai, is a mixed-use scheme, which is situated along the Dubai creek in the southern part of Deira.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Middle East and Africa regional director Michel Augier said: “We are thrilled to welcome these iconic brands to this important area of Dubai. The Deira Waterfront has great potential to attract visitors from around the world, many of whom bring varying accommodation needs, making it the ideal location to further expand our presence. With distinct offerings from economy to upscale, this marks yet another step in our continued commitment to making hotel travel possible for all.”
Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira has been designed for budget conscious travellers. It is the first property in the country under Wyndham’s economy brand.
It features guestrooms with contemporary as well as traditional Arabian interior designs.
Wyndham Dubai Deira has been designed for upscale guests looking for customised services.
Wyndham Dubai Deira has around 290 rooms and suites across its 14 floors, with amenities such as a spa with two treatment rooms, a sauna and steam room, a fitness centre and a pool deck.
The hotel also provides six food and beverage outlets. An additional outlet, which will serve Latin American cuisine on the hotel’s al fresco terrace, is expected to open in 2022.
Both the hotels are located within easy reach of Dubai International Airport, The Dubai Mall, Deira’s metro stations, various bus routes and the Old Souk water taxi station.
The new properties will add to Wyndham’s current portfolio of 16 hotels in the UAE, including eight in Dubai.
In the first half of 2021, the company will open another hotel, the previously announced Days Hotel by Wyndham Dubai Deira.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts owns approximately 9,000 hotels across 90 nations.
