Global third-party hotel management company Aimbridge Hospitality has named Chris O'Donnell as president of its expansive Select Service division.
O'Donnell will take on the new role on 15 September 2025.
He will be responsible for spearheading the division's operational performance and ensuring alignment with the company's “balanced scorecard framework”.
The framework measures profitability, market share, as well as guest satisfaction.
Aimbridge Hospitality CEO Craig S. Smith said: “Chris is a proven leader with deep expertise in the hospitality landscape and a strong track record of driving operational excellence.
“I’m confident in his ability to lead this important division and build on the strong foundation already in place. We’re excited to welcome him to the team.”
With over 20 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry, O'Donnell most recently held the position of chief operating officer at Atrium Hospitality.
Earlier, he also worked in senior positions at Magna Hospitality, White Lodging and Marriott.
O'Donnell said: “I’m honoured to join Aimbridge at such a pivotal time.
“The Select Service division is uniquely positioned to deliver exceptional value to owners and memorable experiences to guests. I look forward to working with our talented teams to build on the strong foundation already in place.”
This announcement follows the establishment of a new all-inclusive division by Aimbridge Hospitality earlier this month.
Additionally, in March, the company expanded its board of managers with the appointment of Rich Gomel, Glenn Alba, Carrie McIntyre, and Emanuel (Manny) Pearlman.
