Dubai Holding has announced the acquisition of Jumeirah Mallorca, a hotel located on Spain’s north-west coast.

The property will remain under the management of Jumeirah, Dubai Holding’s hospitality brand.

This acquisition brings Dubai Holding Hospitality’s portfolio to 34 hotels and resorts, including five Jumeirah-branded establishments across Europe.

Jumeirah Mallorca features 121 rooms with views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range.

The property has received LEED Platinum certification for its sustainability standards.

Dubai Holding intends to invest further in the site to develop its offerings.

The acquisition aligns with Dubai Holding’s approach of investing in assets across global markets as part of efforts to maintain a diversified portfolio.

The company operates in more than 30 countries and manages hospitality brands, such as Bvlgari Hotel Dubai, alongside Jumeirah, which runs 29 properties worldwide.

Dubai Holding group chief executive officer Amit Kaushal said: “This acquisition represents a strategic addition to our growing global hospitality portfolio and underscores our commitment to invest in high-quality assets that enhance long-term value for Dubai Holding.

“Jumeirah Mallorca embodies the exceptional standards and guest experience associated with both Dubai Holding Hospitality and Jumeirah.

“As we continue to expand our footprint in world-class destinations, we remain focused on optimising performance across our portfolio and creating sustainable value through disciplined growth.”

Jumeirah continues to grow its presence in key European destinations, with hotels in London and Capri and a new opening planned for Geneva. The Mallorca addition supports ongoing expansion in major cities and resort locations.

In April 2025, Jumeirah confirmed plans for three upcoming developments in Dubai, UAE. Among these are Jumeirah Asora Bay, a hotel and a residential project on the La Mer South peninsula.

The Jumeirah Asora Bay is scheduled to open in 2029 and will feature 103 rooms and suites along with 20 villas.
