Leading superapp Grab has entered an exclusive collaboration with AI-based travel technology company Nuitée to introduce GrabStays, a hotel accommodation booking service available through the Grab app.

The new feature will allow users in Southeast Asia to book hotel stays both in advance and at the last minute, directly within Grab.

GrabStays will first roll out in Singapore later this month, with expansion to additional markets planned for this year.

The initiative leverages Nuitée's travel infrastructure, giving Grab users direct access to a global hotel inventory via application programming interface (API) integration.

Bookings made through GrabStays allow users to earn loyalty points, known as GrabCoins, which are integrated into the broader Grab rewards ecosystem.

Additionally, GrabStays offers access to an AI chatbot that can be used to inquire about hotel amenities, locations and personal preferences.

Once travellers complete a booking, the app will display related services, including transport bookings to and from their hotel.

GrabStays forms part of Grab’s Partner Apps programme, which brings third-party services directly into the app.

This approach aims to expand the variety of services accessible to users and provide partner businesses with exposure to the millions who transact on Grab each month.
