Global hospitality company Hilton is set to expand its presence in Athens, Greece, with the introduction of three new properties.

These developments are part of franchise agreements with international hotel chain Aluma Greece and will enhance Hilton's lifestyle portfolio in the region.

Hilton president and CEO Chris Nassetta said: “Hilton’s growth in Greece has accelerated tremendously in recent years, representing our ongoing confidence in its appeal as a leading destination for global travellers.

“More than 60 years since the opening of our first hotel in Athens, we are excited to build our presence in the city with these three hotels under our Curio and Tapestry brands.”

The first property, Adia Aluma Athens, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is set to open this year. Located near Omonoia Square, the hotel will offer 215 rooms and a range of amenities, including a restaurant, bars and wellness facilities, encompassing two treatment rooms and a fitness studio.

Slated to open in the same year, Anise Aluma Athens will introduce 99 rooms to the market under the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand.

This hotel will feature a restaurant, a rooftop bar and pool, a meeting room, and gym facilities, marking the Tapestry brand's introduction to Evripidou.

The third property, Skylark Aluma Athens, also part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, will open its doors in 2026.

With 191 rooms, this hotel is known for its rooftop terrace and will offer a bar, restaurant, pool, meeting rooms, and a wellness area.

All of the three hotels will be located with transport links to Athens International Airport, approximately 35km away.

These additions will join Hilton's growing Greek portfolio, which includes ten trading hotels and the upcoming Conrad Athens, marking the debut of the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand in Greece.

Hilton is working with Israeli hotel chain Isrotel Hotel Chain to open the properties.

In February 2022, Hilton announced an investment of €18m ($20.3m) to renovate the Pantelikon Athens hotel and rebrand it under the Curio Collection by Hilton, reinforcing the company's commitment to expanding its footprint in Athens.
