The Horton Hotel & Rooftop Lounge has opened following the completion of its property expansion in downtown Boone, North Carolina, US.

A grand opening was held on 23 October to mark the new development, dubbed as The Hodges Reserve, at the hotel.

According to the company, these latest additions build on its existing services for guests at the Boone property.

As part of the extension, the hotel added new rooms and other facilities, including brand new bathrooms, as well as new local adventure offerings for guests.

The expansion increases the hotel's capacity with the addition of eight rooms, bringing the total number of guest accommodations to 23.

The Foundry provides a flexible venue for meetings and gatherings, featuring folding doors that connect to an atrium space to allow for various configurations.

Guests at the hotel can now access a gym equipped with modern facilities and a sauna.

In response to traveller demand for local experiences, the hotel is also offering curated activities such as guided hikes, culinary tours and waterfall visits.

The Horton owner SPA Properties said: “We're thrilled to open these new luxury rooms and expand our offerings in a way that elevates the guest experience. The Horton Hotel has operated in downtown Boone since 2019 and retains its position as a boutique hotel in the area.
