Global hospitality group Hyatt Hotels has opened three new properties under two of its brands in the Lingang business district of Shanghai, China.
The hotels are namely Hyatt Regency Shanghai Lingang, Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang, and Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang Xinchen International Conference Center.
The properties now operate as an integrated hospitality destination, offering various accommodation options aimed at both business and leisure visitors.
Located in Lingang, the hotels provide direct proximity to popular local attractions such as the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, Haichang Ocean Park, Dishui Lake, and the L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort.
The development features a design approach centred on art and local culture, displaying collections of sculptures and artworks that reference regional maritime themes.
Hyatt Regency Shanghai Lingang operates as the flagship property with 305 rooms designed for views of Dishui Lake and fireworks displays on special occasions.
Other features include multiple dining options, event spaces, pet-friendly policies, a round-the-clock gym facility, and a dedicated two-floor children’s club.
Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang Xinchen International Conference Center offers 364 guest rooms connected by a sky bridge to the main Regency building.
Facilities include event spaces for conferences and themed rooms for families. The hotel's layout supports large-scale meetings and events.
Completing the development is Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang with 128 rooms equipped with kitchenettes and laundry facilities to cater to long-term or family travellers.
The complex's general manager Spring Li said: “We are thrilled to introduce this unique hotel collective that represents a new era of hospitality in Lingang. Each hotel has been carefully designed to serve distinct guest needs while complementing one another, creating a destination for every purpose.
“Whether travelling for business, leisure, or an extended stay, our art-inspired accommodations, diverse dining venues and premium event facilities are thoughtfully designed to deliver comfort, inspiration, and memorable experiences - all set against the stunning backdrop of Dishui Lake.”
Hyatt recently announced that it will expand in Portugal, with four additional properties set to open nationwide by 2027.
