Hyatt Hotels has signed management agreements with Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL) and BCV Developers for two properties in India, Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli and Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR.
BHVL and BCV Developers are subsidiaries of the Brigade Group.
BCV Developers has signed the agreement for Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli, which will feature 135 serviced apartments for short and extended stays. The property is slated to open in 2027.
Located 20 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport, the development is designed to serve the Devanahalli tech corridor, including upcoming IT parks, the planned Financial City, and the Aerospace Science Park.
Facilities are set to include an all-day restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, a fitness centre and meeting spaces.
BHVL signed the management agreement for Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR, which will be built on a beachfront site on India’s south-eastern coast.
Slated to open in 2029, the property is expected to have 200 guest rooms, five dining venues, a pool bar, a lobby lounge, wellness facilities and event spaces.
The Chennai hotel is intended to serve leisure and business travellers and host weddings, staycations, and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE).
BHVL managing director Nirupa Shankar said: “We are happy to announce our plans for Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR, a world-class hotel that will redefine the hospitality landscape in Chennai.
“This will be our first hotel with Hyatt, and we are confident in Hyatt’s global expertise in managing large-format MICE hotels.”
The two agreements will expand Hyatt’s presence in India through projects being developed with Brigade Group companies.

Last week, Hyatt Hotels opened Caption by Hyatt Chattanooga Downtown, the brand’s first hotel in Chattanooga, Tennessee, US.
