IDeaS brings Last Room Value pricing to Stayntouch cloud PMS

The tool supports real-time booking decisions to optimise revenue based on projected total value, without increasing complexity.

IDeaS has integrated its Last Room Value (LRV) functionality into Stayntouch’s cloud property management system (PMS) to expand the availability of automated revenue management solutions for hotels.

The feature calculates dynamic rate hurdles for a hotel’s remaining rooms, helping operators assess incoming bookings as availability narrows.

The system supports real-time decisions on which bookings to accept, using each booking’s projected total value to optimise revenue without increasing operational complexity.

This approach is intended to assist hotel teams with limited resources, particularly independent and small to mid-sized operators that may lack extensive revenue management expertise.

By offering LRV through the Stayntouch PMS, IDeaS enables property staff to implement revenue strategies directly within their existing workflow.

The integration allows the PMS to track sold room data and apply changes from IDeaS, supporting a more responsive management of room inventory and availability.

Hotels can manage length of stay and availability controls within Stayntouch, replacing blanket manual rules with data-driven processes.

The system operates in the background, reducing the need for staff oversight and minimising manual intervention in pricing or inventory management.

According to IDeaS, this enhancement aims to reduce staff workload and shift resources from administrative tasks to guest-facing activities while also mitigating overreliance on rigid controls.

The integration is expected to deliver more consistent performance in booking value management as demand conditions change.
