IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered an agreement to manage Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen in Eltville-Erbach, Germany, under its Vignette Collection brand.

Owned by Dana Qadir, the property becomes the third hotel in the country to join the Vignette Collection, following signings in Berlin and Reit im Winkl.

The move expands IHG’s portfolio of luxury and lifestyle properties in Germany.

The transaction was facilitated by Feuring Hotel Consulting.

Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen, Vignette Collection offers 53 guest rooms and suites, three dining venues, nine meeting spaces covering a total of 380m², and a wellness centre. There are plans for possible expansion in future, said IHG.

IHG Hotels & Resorts Northern Europe managing director Mario Maxeiner said: “We are delighted to partner with Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen, whose dedicated investment and shared vision for this unique property exemplify a commitment to excellence.

“Together, we will thoughtfully reposition the hotel, preserving its unique character and ensuring it enhances our collection while honouring its distinctive surroundings.”

Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen is situated in the Rheingau wine region at the Rhine River, nearby Wiesbaden, and Mainz.

The location offers access to local transport links and hosts the annual Rheingau Music Festival that draws over 100,000 visitors annually, stated the company.

Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen operating company owner Hevar Berzenji said: “We are delighted about the partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts and our inclusion in the Vignette Collection. Together, we will successfully continue the story of this historic property.

“The new design is inspired by the personality of the castle’s most famous resident, Princess Marianne of Oranien-Nassau. With IHG, we will unlock the full potential of our property and offer our guests unique and authentic experiences at the highest level.”

Launched in 2021, the Vignette Collection targets independent hotel owners who wish to affiliate with a global brand while maintaining their property's individual identity.

The collection has a goal of reaching 100 hotels by 2030 and has already exceeded the “halfway point”.

IHG now operates 171 hotels in Germany, with an additional 65 properties under development, across ten brands, as of 30 June 2025.
