Hospitality company Hilton has announced that La Cantera Resort & Spa in Texas, US, will be rebranded as Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa.
The move will also mark the introduction of the Signia by Hilton brand in the state.
The property, located in San Antonio and owned by Ohana Real Estate Investors, will be managed by Hilton.
La Cantera Resort & Spa general manager Ben Turner said: “La Cantera Resort & Spa has been a beloved destination in the Texas Hill Country for more than 20 years, and we’re proud to lead its next chapter as a Signia by Hilton hotel.
“This partnership combines the resort’s rich heritage and upscale amenities with Signia’s signature hospitality, enhancing its reputation as a premier destination for sophisticated getaways and exceptional events in San Antonio.”
This property has 496 guest rooms, including 34 villas and an exclusive adults-only floor. It recently underwent an extensive 11-month renovation worth $40m.
Amenities at the property include various dining options, five swimming pools, a camp for kids, and nature trails.
The resort offers 115,000ft² of indoor and outdoor space, featuring a grand ballroom and the soon-to-be-launched Calera, a 5,600ft² space for weddings and events.
Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa will begin accepting bookings for stays starting 1 October 2025.
This new addition is part of the Signia by Hilton brand's expansion, which includes the recent launch of Signia by Hilton Amman in February this year and the anticipated opening of Signia by Hilton Indianapolis in 2026.
