US-based hotel brand LivAway Suites has commenced construction of a property in Hopewell, Virginia, marking its first hotel in the US state.

The move marks the company’s entry into the commonwealth and represents a further step in LivAway Suites’ Virginia hotel development as part of its ongoing East Coast expansion.

The new Hopewell site aims to accommodate a wide range of extended-stay guests by providing convenience, security, and modern amenities.

Its location near Fort Gregg-Adams, which hosts training for more than 70,000 military personnel each year, positions the hotel to serve service members and their families.

The site is also within a four-mile drive of TriCities Hospital and is close to Virginia State University, providing solutions for healthcare professionals and university visitors.

This development supports LivAway Suites’ approach to growth in high-demand markets across the US. The brand continues to follow its model centred on innovative design and technology-driven operations within the extended-stay segment.

LivAway Suites COO Kevin Dailey said: “We're excited to bring LivAway Suites to Hopewell and to expand our footprint into Virginia for the first time.

“This location places us at the intersection of military, medical, and academic demand, allowing us to deliver the comforts of home to guests who need reliable, extended-stay accommodations.”

LivAway Suites operates in the upper-economy segment of the extended-stay hotel market.

The properties focus on essential amenities and a contemporary design that emphasises simplicity, comfort, and value. Its integrated platform covers operations, technology, and development for efficient delivery and consistent investor outcomes.

In December 2025, LivAway Suites also began work on a new extended-stay property in Mesa, Arizona. Scheduled to open in late 2026, it will be the company’s fifth site in the state.
