The Mirbeau Companies has announced the opening of Mirbeau Inn & Spa’s new location in Beacon, New York, US, marking the brand’s fifth property and a further expansion into the Hudson Valley region.

Covering 64 acres, the High Victorian Gothic mansion was originally the private residence of Civil War General Joseph Howland and was designed by Frederick Clarke Withers.

The surrounding grounds were laid out by landscape architect Henry Winthrop Sargent.

The mansion and the newly constructed Spa Château collectively offer 72 guest rooms and suites.

At the core of the new development is a 25,000ft² spa, accessible to overnight guests and day visitors. The spa includes amenities such as the aqua terrace, fitness facilities, resting area, reflection room, solarium, and steam rooms.

The resort also features a full-service restaurant and bar.

Located in Beacon’s arts community and surrounded by the Hudson Valley’s landscape, the resort provides access to cultural, wellness, and dining options for visitors.
