Radisson RED brand has opened a new hotel at Twickenham’s Allianz Stadium in London, UK, after completion of a refurbishment programme.

The hotel features 150 guest rooms, all-day dining options, and modern amenities such as wireless charging points and Chromecast technology.

Radisson RED property in London’s Twickenham comprises the Rose and Legend Suites, with each suite named after a sporting great. These suites are furnished, said the company.

Radisson RED London Twickenham general manager Sandeep Kaushik said: “It is a monumental moment to open the first Radisson RED property at a sports stadium, and to bring a fresh and exciting energy to Twickenham and the surrounding area. We have worked together with Allianz Stadium and partners to bring together and celebrate Twickenham’s rich cultural and sporting legacy.”

The hotel's ‘Fitness Club’ includes an equipped gym, sauna, and an indoor swimming pool.

The Loft, a space to socialise and entertain, provides a setting for meetings. It can also be divided into three areas for dining and breakout spaces.

The event space can accommodate up to 100 people seated or up to 200 guests in a “presentation-style” setup.

Situated on the south side of the iconic Allianz Stadium, guests at Radisson RED will be part of a ‘comprehensive’ stadium experience.

Radisson Hotel Group UK, Ireland & Nordics chief development officer Adela Cristea said: “Bringing the Radisson RED brand to such an iconic sports stadium is a significant and exciting milestone.

"We’re proud to partner with the hotel’s much-valued owners, the Rugby Football Union, and management company Aimbridge on this groundbreaking project, and we look forward to welcoming guests and creating memorable stays.”

Last month, Radisson Hotel Group launched the Radisson RED Oslo City Centre in Norway, marking its second verified net-zero hotel and representing a significant achievement in sustainable hospitality.
