Sandman Hotel Group reopens West Georgia Street property post-upgrade

Located in downtown Vancouver, the hotel now includes 303 redesigned guest rooms and suites.

Sandman Hotel Group has reopened its West Georgia Street property in Canada as Sandman Signature Vancouver Downtown Hotel following a complete transformation.

The Sandman Signature Vancouver Downtown has undergone a complete renovation, resulting in updated facilities and redesigned accommodations in central Vancouver.

The hotel now includes 303 redesigned guest rooms and suites, each of which has been updated with modern finishes, improved layouts, and upgraded linens to enhance comfort and sleep quality.

The property also offers upgraded kitchenette suites for added flexibility, catering to both short-term and extended-stay guests.

The hotel provides 3,937ft² of flexible meeting and event space suitable for business gatherings and social functions.

Guests have access to an indoor pool and hot tub, set against the backdrop of downtown Vancouver.

On-site dining options include Shark Club and Moxies, with the latter featuring a new design and updated menu for both guests and local visitors.

The reopening of Sandman Signature Vancouver Downtown comes as Vancouver prepares for increased international visitors ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

With its central location on West Georgia Street and enhanced amenities, the hotel aims to serve both leisure and business travellers from around the world.
