The St Anthony luxury hotel in San Antonio, Texas, US, has announced Crescent Hotels & Resorts as its new management team.

This move marks a milestone in the hotel's storied existence, promising to maintain its status as a destination for various events and leisure activities in the city.

In the US and Canada, Crescent Hotels & Resorts operates more than 120 establishments.

Crescent is among the management companies authorised to run upper-upscale and luxury hotels within the Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt brand families, along with a range of independent and lifestyle properties under the Latitudes Collection banner.

A part of the Luxury Collection, the St Anthony is renowned for being San Antonio's first luxury hotel, having hosted notable guests such as Babe Ruth and Princess Grace of Monaco since its inauguration in 1909.

The hotel completed a multimillion-dollar restoration in 2015. The two-year renovation was led by Dallas-based interior architecture and design company ForrestPerkins.

Guests at the St Anthony enjoy close access to San Antonio's dining scene, historical sites, and cultural offerings.

Overlooking Travis Park, the hotel boasts elegant architectural details and vintage-inspired rooms with modern amenities such as pillowtop beds, free Wi-Fi, and black marble tubs.
