US-based V2 Capital Management has completed the purchase of the 129-room EVEN hotel in Norwalk, Connecticut, from New York real estate investment platform 6R Capital Group.
The sale was overseen by the Hunter Hotel Advisors.
The transaction took place on 15 September, and the sale was facilitated by Hunter Hotel Advisors' senior vice-president Spencer Davidson.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. It is expected that the hotel brand will continue to strengthen its presence in the market under the new ownership.
The EVEN hotel in Norwalk is close to several corporate headquarters, as well as Norwalk Hospital and the Maritime Aquarium.
On-site facilities include 746ft² of meeting space, a fitness centre, and a restaurant called The EVEN Kitchen & Bar.
According to 6R Capital Group co-founder and managing partner Shai Shamir, the company had acquired the hotel and completed an extensive property improvement plan (PIP) over the past two years.
6R said it also updated the hotel to meet new design standards.
Shamir said: “This successful transaction reflects our strategy of identifying opportunities, creating value through repositioning and ultimately delivering strong results for our partners.”
Earlier this week, Hunter Hotel Advisors also reported the sale and financing of three Marriott-branded hotels in Longmont.
The properties are Courtyard Boulder Longmont with 78 rooms, Residence Inn Boulder Longmont with 84 rooms, and SpringHill Suites Boulder Longmont with 90 rooms.
An institutional seller transferred ownership of this portfolio to Assurance Hospitality and Affiliates on 5 September 2025.
Davidson said: “With future CapEx due, ownership is positioned to unlock meaningful value through enhancements that will elevate the asset’s competitive position and ensure its continued success in a highly sought-after region.”
