Taiwan-based Silks Hotel Group’s second property under the Wellspring by Silks brand in Beitou, Taipei City, is now fully operational.
This follows the launch of the Taiwan property earlier this year.
The property's architecture reflects the local hot spring culture, with guest rooms that feature a Zen-inspired experience, Taiwanese ceramic artworks, and city and mountain views.
Situated near the Xinbeitou MRT Station, the hotel features 100 guest rooms and suites, each with twin soaking tubs provided by Beitou's white sulphur springs.
Amenities at the property include various dining options, a communal bath, outdoor pool, spa treatment rooms, a fitness centre and children's play areas.
The property has achieved Golden-Level Green Building certification, said the group.
Targeting leisure travellers, wellness enthusiasts, and urban staycationers, the Wellspring by Silks hotel focuses on East Asian wellness traditions.
It offers wellness activities in collaboration with the Japan Sustainable Tourism Association, as well as regularly conducts artist-in-residence programmes and creative workshops.
The hotel's partnership with Guyo Ryokan introduces guests to Japan's "Okami" culture.
