Park Hyatt opens first beach resort in Caribbean

Hyatt Hotels brand Park Hyatt has opened first beach resort in the Caribbean called Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour.

Located within the proximity of Christophe Harbour, the new 126-room luxury resort includes a secluded beach of Banana Bay to offer unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea and neighbouring Nevis.

Hyatt Latin America and Caribbean senior vice-president Myles McGourty said: “We are excited to debut the Park Hyatt brand experience on this incredible island that is brimming with rich culture, storied history, untapped adventure and pristine beaches.

“We are delighted to be working with Range Developments, the developer of the project and one of the leading development companies in the Caribbean.

“Our discerning global guests will be welcomed with personalized service and contemporary elegance surrounded by sophisticated design, world-class artwork, the finest culinary expressions and Miraval’s deep-rooted expertise in wellness.”

Home to three signature restaurants, the hotel offers local and international cuisines to its guests, and its Fisherman’s Village serves ocean-to-table lunch and dinner overlooking the water.

Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour features both indoor and outdoor event spaces, Miraval Life in Balance Spa, and a 1,750ft² fitness centre.

Range Developments vice-chairman Mohammed Asaria said:  “It is a source of great satisfaction to celebrate this hotel opening with the prestigious Park Hyatt brand.

“We expect Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour will set the standard for luxury hotels in the region and is already referenced as a market leader.”
