Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.55% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 1.14% over the last three-month average share.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 13.04% share, an increase of 28.57% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 38.3% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s travel & tourism industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Canadian Pacific Railway posted 17 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 54.55% over the previous month. Flight Centre Travel Group with 11 IT jobs and Flight Centre Travel Group with 11 jobs, recorded an 83.33% growth, while Air Canada recorded a decline of 30.77% with 9 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.22%, down by 15.09% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.64% share, registered an increase of 13.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.14% share, up 16.67% over February 2022.
