The partnership expands IHG’s voco brand portfolio in Thailand, following the establishment of voco Bangkok Surawong and contributing to IHG’s presence in the country, where it now has more than 80 hotels that are either open or in the pipeline.

voco Phuket Patong becomes part of IHG’s premium brand and a portfolio of 137 hotels that are open worldwide. A further 113 hotels are in the development pipeline.

The property will be situated 150m from Patong beach, offering ocean views, access to nearby commercial and entertainment destinations, as well as proximity to other popular beaches in Phuket.

Facilities at the hotel will include a restaurant, two bars, a spa, a swimming pool and a fitness centre.

IHG Thailand development director Pathana Jitsaereetham said: “Phuket experienced its most successful high season in five years in 2025, surpassing pre-Covid benchmarks.

“voco Phuket Patong will further strengthen IHG’s diverse portfolio in Phuket, which features seven hotels across five brands—InterContinental, Vignette Collection, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, and Holiday Inn Express.”

In a separate recent development, IHG Hotels & Resorts launched voco Darwin Suites in Australia’s Northern Territory, introducing the brand to the region for the first time.
