The 107-key hotel is expected to open by the end of this year.

It will be located in Al Olaya, a commercial district in Riyadh. The site is adjacent to Kingdom Centre Tower and near Al Faisaliah Tower, King Abdullah Financial District and King Fahad National Library.

IHG Hotels & Resorts India, Middle East and Africa managing director Haitham Mattar said: “We are proud to introduce Noted Collection to the Middle East through this landmark signing in Riyadh, bringing a new premium collection brand to one of the region’s most dynamic hospitality markets.

“As Saudi Arabia continues to advance its national tourism ambitions and elevate its hospitality landscape, this signing reflects our commitment to bringing distinctive brands and experiences to the Kingdom.”

After completion, Cantonal Hotel Riyadh Noted Collection by IHG will include a main restaurant, a café, a rooftop lounge, meeting spaces and an indoor pool.

The hotel is expected to cater to both business and leisure travellers visiting central Riyadh.

Morina Development & Investment manager Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Haqbani said: “We are pleased to partner with IHG Hotels & Resorts to introduce Noted Collection to the Middle East from the Saudi capital.

“Riyadh is undergoing a remarkable transformation, and we see strong demand for hotels that combine individuality, quality and a powerful sense of place with the systems, loyalty platform and commercial reach of a trusted global company.”

Noted Collection was launched recently as IHG’s 21st brand. IHG said the brand includes independent hotels, each selected for “distinct perspective”.

IHG currently operates 48 hotels in Saudi Arabia and has 62 more in its development pipeline.

Earlier this month, the company signed an agreement to launch a voco‑branded property in Malaysia.
