Thai design company PIA led the architecture and interiors. The property references Thailand’s botanical traditions in a contemporary design style.

Seven food and drink venues are due to be introduced during this year.

These include Harper’s, which is described as a North American French brasserie.

AELA Social Bar will operate as a lounge by day and a cocktail bar in the evening. CAYA Pool Club will serve contemporary dishes influenced by Thai street food and cocktails inspired by Bangkok night markets.

Further restaurant openings are planned for December 2026 on levels 32 and 33.

Wellness offerings include Fairmont Spa, Fairmont Studio for yoga, cardio and strength training and Fairmont Fit.

The property also includes more than 21,500ft² of event space across three floors.

This includes the Signature Grand Ballroom with a 12m ceiling and a dedicated arrival forecourt, a second ballroom, seven breakout rooms and other meeting areas.

Guests choosing Fairmont Gold, the brand’s signature “hotel within a hotel” concept, will have access to a separate reception, lounge and concierge service.

The building has been developed to LEED Gold standards, with features such as biophilic design, water recycling, smart energy systems, indoor air quality measures, EV charging and a heat-reduction façade.

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts CEO Omer Acarsaid: “Representing a pivotal step in Fairmont’s strategic expansion across Asia, this landmark property follows the much-anticipated debuts of both Fairmont Hanoi and Fairmont Tokyo.

“More than just a hotel, this magnificent social epicentre enables locals and global travellers to unite and celebrate, connect, and immerse themselves in the spirit of this vivid city, enabling us to truly Make Special Happen for everyone that visits.”

Last week, Accor, in partnership with Javi Home, added to its India portfolio with the signing of Fairmont Rishikesh.

The 220-room resort is planned for Rishikesh’s Shivpuri Range in Uttarakhand, with opening scheduled in 2031.
