Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has entered into an agreement with Lords India Entertainment to develop a new hotel in Alwar, Rajasthan.
The brownfield property will operate under IHCL’s Gateway brand.

Located in the Aravalli hills, Gateway Alwar will comprise 122 rooms and provide several dining venues, including an all-day diner, a speciality restaurant and a bar.
The hotel will also feature wellness amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa.
Facilities for weddings and social gatherings will include more than 9,000ft² of banqueting space, alongside flexible meeting rooms.
Lords India Entertainment founder Manoj Kumar Chachan said: “Alwar’s historic charm has immense potential as a leisure destination. We are excited to collaborate with IHCL to bring the Gateway brand to the region.”
Following the addition of Gateway Alwar, IHCL’s Rajasthan portfolio will comprise 74 hotels, including 32 properties under development.

Recently, IHCL signed an agreement to develop a Gateway-branded hotel in Siliguri, West Bengal.
The greenfield property will feature 125 guest rooms and suites, catering to corporate and leisure travellers.
It will also include an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant and a bar, along with a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa facilities.
