The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 9.65% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.52% share in August 2021, recording an increase of 0.02% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 63.64% in August 2021, registering a 31.25% flat growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 21.21% share, an increase of 75% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 12.12%, registering a 33.33% decline from July 2021.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 3.03%, down 75% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 127.27% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s travel & tourism industry during August 2021 over July 2021.

Deutsche Bahn posted 10 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Walt Disney with 8 jobs and a 20% drop. International Game Technology with 3 IT jobs and Melco Resorts & Entertainment with 3 jobs, recorded a 200% flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Minor International recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during August 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.7%, up by 21.05% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 21.21% share, registered an increase of 75% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.09% share, down 70% over July 2021.
