The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.3% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 23.97% share in August 2021, recording a decrease of 2.31% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 71.11% in August 2021, registering a 27.27% decline over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 13.33% share, a decrease of 53.85% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 8.89%, registering a flat growth from July 2021.

4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 6.67%, down 25% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s travel & tourism industry during August 2021 over July 2021.

A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 35 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a drop of 33.96% over the previous month, followed by DSV Panalpina with 8 jobs and a 300% growth. Booking Holdings with 2 IT jobs and flat growth.

Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.89%, down by 31.11% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 28.89% share, registered a decline of 13.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.22% share, down 85.71% over July 2021.
