Denmark-based company DSV Panalpina’s IT hiring increased by 3.9% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.1% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 6.61% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 0.19% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops DSV Panalpina IT hiring in July 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by DSV Panalpina, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 67.82% in July 2021, and a 34.09% growth over June 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 27.59% in July 2021, and registered a 25% decline. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 3.45% in July 2021, a 25% drop from June 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at DSV Panalpina

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 66.67% share, which marked a 1.75% growth over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 17.24%, registering a 36.36% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 10.34% share and an 18.18% drop over June 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 5.75% and a month-on-month increase of 66.67%.

Poland commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 35.63% share in July 2021, a 3.13% decline over June 2021. Netherlands featured next with a 19.54% share, up 6.25% over the previous month.Philippines recorded a 10.34% share, an increase of 28.57% compared with June 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead DSV Panalpina IT hiring activity in July 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.77%, up by 1.96% from June 2021. Entry Level positions with a 25.29% share, a growth of 29.41% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 14.94% share, down 7.14% over June 2021.
