Management Occupations drive travel and tourism industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 16% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were down by 10% year-on-year. Second highest were Food Preparation and Serving Related Occupations, which accounted for 15% and rise by 2% year-on-year, and third highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which were 34% of the new job postings and 9% lower year-on-year.

The highest number of jobs were posted by Marriott International with 8,423, followed by Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts with 755, while the highest increase was at InterContinental Hotels Group at 51%.
